Week 2 – Poetry Reading Awards

This week we all chose our poetry book for the Spring Term Reading Award. We have made poetry the focus of our reading targets too so can everyone read a minimum of 10 poems from each book and then try to memorise one of these to recite to the class. At the end of the Spring terms we are all going to try and learn at least one poem by heart.

We also used the laptops to help us with our mental addition and subtraction of near multiples of 100 and 1000.

  2. It sounds like you’ve had a brilliant week Lime C. I really like that you used the laptops in maths and I might have to try it with Cherry class.
