Week 2 and 3 of term 5

On the Friday of the first week, the Wiltshire Air Ambulance took the Assembly and told us all about the work they do. Woody answered a question and was allowed to try the flying paramedic suit on.

Some of us were given wrist bands for also answering questions.

Last Wednesday Jack and Henry from Bath Rugby came to visit Lime N and C. Jack was working with us.

We started with a classroom activity about healthy eating. We found out lots of information about Clementines and how they give us vitamins and calcium. We also found out about some of the first team members Рwho came from countries where citrus fruits grow Р and how they keep healthy.

We then went outside and played some skills based games.

They were great fun. We had a wonderful afternoon and would like to thank Jack very much. He also gave us some more tag rugby belts and two new balls.

Last Friday was our class assembly. Thank you to everyone that came. We hope you enjoyed finding out what we had been up to this year, (We’re not sure what those two detectives were doing but they seemed very impressed too!).

Today we had our second computing lesson on 3D design and we would like to share some of our work…

Woody has also completed his English homework already….

Fantastic! Definitely worth a Success stamp!

At the moment we are working on decimal fractions in maths and persuasive writing in English.

Term 5

Welcome to term 5.

We have been very busy this week writing our script for our class assembly.

Fred and Tom have been preparing the accompanying PowerPoint and we are all very excited to share all of our hard work with you.

Parents, grandparents and siblings are all invited to…

Lime C Class Assembly

In the school hall

On Friday 22nd April 2016

at 9:15am.

We have also started our new topic – Science, Earth and Space; had our 4th Judo lesson (of 8) and had our first look (this year) at Islam in RE.

Ten year 5 pupils went to High Post Golf Course, on Wednesday, to participate in a Tri Golf tournament and we are pleased to announce that we came second out of 6 teams. We were a little apprehensive at the start as some of us had never tried this before however by the end we were all enthusiastic to do this again. Mrs Chapman and Mrs Kinderman definitely spotted some natural talent in our players. Well done everyone!
